How to design a newsletter in microsoft publisher 2010

The reason is so that the copier does not click color for the middle pages and clicks color for the 1st and last page only, decreasing printing costs. All I want to do, after finishing the newsletter, is to click on page 2, change the whole page to black, page 3, to black etc. Even better would be to click page 2 thru 19 and change them to black print so it does not click the color meter on the copier. I used to be able to do this in Publisher , but I cannot figure out a way to do this in Please, can someone clarify for me?

Is there any specific option that you used to select to print the publication in 2 different colors on Publisher ? Note: This procedure takes two attempts to print the document. If you are looking for a specific option that was available on Publisher , then send the publication to pdf and then check if that option is available for print.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. This control is on the picture toolbar and when you mouse over it is is called 'color'. Unfortunately I cannot find exactly the same control in Pub I did find something similar that might work.

I added it to my quick access toolbar. Now if you select a page in your newsletter and click that 'color printing' icon, you get a dialog box that lets you choose to define all colors as: single color etc. I chose single color black and it seemed to result in a grayscale view of the page. Unfortuanely in my tests it recolored the entire publication. I hope you are able to keep it to the interior pages. If not I found a workaround. Download and install www. When you install it watch for the optional toolbars and junk and it should install easily and without problems otherwise.

Now the reason I suggest this is that primopdf allows you to append a pdf file to an existing file. First you will choose to print the color cover page to pdf. For more information on creating a newsletter, see Create a newsletter using Publisher.

The best option is to send it as a PDF. When you send your publication as an email attachment, you don't need to preview its appearance in a browser, because email recipients will open and view the publication in the correct program. Important: When you send a Publisher publication as an email attachment, the recipient must have Publisher installed to view the publication.

Publisher includes many attractive, high-impact email newsletter designs that you can send as messages. In the list of designs, scroll down to find the Newsletter category, and select the newsletter template you want to use.

Note: Under Customize , you can adjust the color scheme and font scheme and insert your business information before you create the publication. In your email publication, replace the text and pictures in the publication with your own content. If you are printing on tabloid-sized paper, Office Publisher prints the first and last pages on one side of the sheet of paper, the second and next-to-last pages on the other side of the sheet, and so on, as shown here. If your computer doesn't support two-sided printing, the Publisher Printer Setup Wizard starts and guides you through printing a copy of your publication in the right order so that the first and last pages are printed on one sheet of paper, the second and next-to-last pages on another sheet, and so on.

When you photocopy the pages back to back, fold them, and then staple or bind them together, they will be in the right order.
